By registering for The Sacred Pause Retreat (“Retreat”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. HEALTH & WELLNESS DISCLAIMER

  • Educational program only; not medical advice
  • Consult healthcare provider before participating
  • Participants confirm fitness to participate
  • Must disclose relevant health conditions

2. ACTIVITIES & RISK ACKNOWLEDGMENT

Lake Matinenda Location:

  • Snowmobile transport across frozen lake at participant's risk
  • Optional snowshoeing at participant's risk
  • Winter activity risks include cold exposure and ice/snow hazards
  • Appropriate winter clothing required

All Locations:

  • Optional movement activities at participant's risk
  • Discontinue any activity causing discomfort

3. FOOD & BEVERAGE POLICY

  • Meals/refreshments included
  • Must communicate dietary restrictions at registration
  • No guarantee of allergen-free environment

4. CANCELLATION & TRANSFER POLICY

  • Transferable to another person with immediate notice
  • No refunds within 48 hours of event
  • Emergency/illness exceptions considered individually

5. MEDIA CONSENT

  • Permission granted for photo/video marketing use
  • Includes social media, website, promotional materials

6. PERSONAL PROPERTY

  • Organizers not liable for lost/stolen/damaged items
  • Participants responsible for belongings

7. CODE OF CONDUCT

  • Respectful behavior required
  • Removal without refund for disruptive conduct

8. LIABILITY WAIVER

  • Release of organizers from liability
  • Covers transportation, activities, facility use

9. AGREEMENT

  • Registration confirms understanding and acceptance of all terms.
